Conduct comprehensive, accurate, and targeted information gathering across all assigned research products. Apply US taxation knowledge to prepare in-depth research reports
Understand business data and information requirements from team lead and assess required delivery time.
Gather data and information on company, market, and other business parameters using secondary research resources. Research resources include third party information databases e.g. Factiva, OneSource, Hoovers, etc
Demonstrate expertise in specific databases relevant to financial reporting, US taxation, and Professional Services Firms.
Demonstrate understanding of taxation, finance and strategy concepts.

Job Description About SR&I:

The SR&I Center of Excellence (SR&I CoE) in India was conceived to integrate and build Deloitte’s research and knowledge management capacities. The CoE’s growing team of research professionals focus on knowledge management, market & competitive intelligence, thought leadership, solution development, strategic planning and commercialization to produce high value offerings that generate bottom line benefit for clients and the firm. They work with R&D professionals in the US to identify development priorities and influence overall firm strategy besides supporting client relationship building activities. The CoE plays a key role in communicating and commercializing the firm’s perspective to a broad audience around the world.

The SR&I CoE has aggressive growth plans and is hiring across services lines and across levels to gear up to meet client requirements.

About Tax Research Team:

Tax Research Team (TRT) is an integral part of SR&I - Deloitte Intelligence (DI) group. The team provides research and intelligence support to Deloitte Tax LLP in the U.S. Primary requestors include Partners, Directors and Senior Managers.
Desired Profile Specific Skill Sets:
Business research in KPO companies
Knowledge of US companies and US taxation
Must have exposure to Financial Statement Analysis
Must have strong verbal and written English skills
Exposure to working in teams
Knowledge of online databases like Hoovers, Factiva, OneSource, Thomson, etc.
